Kat was born in Toronto, but grew up living between Canada and the UK. She considers London, England as much her home as her Canadian roots.

She moved to London to study acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and spent recent years working in London’s theatre and film industry in a variety of roles: actor, writer, producer... even as a stage door keeper at the Royal Court Theatre for a bit.
She also went on to bring the house down at the Olivier Awards when she performed a duet of "MACK THE KNIFE" to an audience filled with the great and good of London's theatre scene.
